Monitor coding agent activity from your phone.
You started a task on your Mac. Now you want to leave the desk without losing track of it. AfterLid brings supported agent activity to your linked phone, so you can check in without opening your laptop.
Requires AfterLid on your Mac and phone, an enabled agent connection, and internet access for remote features.
Your work stays on your Mac.
AfterLid helps keep your Mac awake during builds, downloads and local agent work. Your phone shows the activity that the connected tool reports.
Know when a task needs you
Supported connections can report activity and requests for review. Where a connection supports remote approval, you can respond through AfterLid. Other requests still need attention on the Mac.
Opening an AI app is not enough to connect it. Available events and approval support depend on the tool, its version and the connection you enable.
Start with the Mac that does the work.
Using Codex, Claude Code or Cursor? Check the connections available in your installed AfterLid Mac build. Terminal and desktop sessions can expose different activity.
Link your devices
Install the desktop and phone apps. Sign in with the same account and approve the Mac link.
Enable your agent connection
Follow the connection instructions on the Mac. Review any hook or permission prompt shown by your coding tool.
Run a small task first
Open Activity on your phone and confirm that the task appears. Test any supported approval flow before relying on it away from your desk.
A playful look at an agent workspace.
Explore the animated agent floor. Its tasks, counters and approvals are simulated. It does not show your account activity or prove that a particular integration is connected.

Does AfterLid run the AI task for me?
No. The task runs in your coding tool on your Mac. AfterLid manages power modes and relays supported activity from the connections you enable.
Can I close the lid and put my Mac in a bag?
Keep a working Mac on a firm, ventilated surface. AfterLid’s battery, thermal and session limits do not make running a laptop inside a bag safe. Read about those limits.
What information reaches my phone?
Enabled Activity features relay status and supported approval details. Requests can include limited text, file paths and code excerpts for review. Redaction reduces what is shared but cannot guarantee that every sensitive detail is removed. Read the privacy policy.
What is free?
Free accounts include live desktop status. Pro adds remote power controls and personalization. Check the current plan details in your account before choosing a paid feature.
